no you dont need to remove your chairs
gotta take off the panel thing between the seat and the window / ie the part that your seat belt comes out of,
take that off take the old one out and they'res a bolt behind the seat belt thing at the top,
dont know what its called but its the part 'filters' it into the direction
acts kind of like a hook if u get what i mean.

take that off, re 'string' the new seat belt into that, and attach the bottom of teh seat belt to where the original one used to be (where u had to remove the panal that covers it between the two windows/beside the seats.

had to replace the driver side seatbelt in my old EK once..

    - removed rear seats
    - removed rear trim to access seat belt
    - unbolt seatbelt, bolt in new one..
    - then replace all items
