Hi All,
My car has a constant "HUM" when you are cruising i.e 80km/h / 100km/h etc. with cruise control on. (Auto BTW)
When the cruise is on, you can hear the low level hum in the background. It appears to be coming from around the glovebox area.
Now it is not the fan blower motor.
I have turned the fan off. A/C off. Audio off.
When cruising and you push "cancel" on cruise control, the hum goes away.
Even without cruise on, just using the accelerator pedal, when you apply very slight throttle, you can hear the hum, off with the pedal and the noise goes away - silence.
Highway Honda say "road tested vehicle for hum noise. Found noise from cruise control is normal - only induction noise when cruise holds speed. Noise goes on over run." (as per my invoice)
Has anyone else experienced such a sound.
It always happens, no matter what. Should I take it to another dealer, or is
I just feel that the dealer is giving me the run around.
