got it from ultimate auto trim. the seller on ebay. took a while for them to make the product. it was about 5-6 weeks from when i paid for it, to when i got it at my doorstep.
i also got some extra material to do the door trim. so that'll probably be on by next week.

damn 5k is maybe a tad over priced? lol
from the picture the spoiler isn't the actual Mugen RR spoiler where it has a center piece on the bottom and CF centre piece is skinnier. just looks like a type R spoiler.

which body kit does everyone prefer?
    Mugen
    Mugen RR
    Type R

or abit of mix and match

ur system may get louder but it won't help with reponsiveness~!

yeah its all about the air to fuel mixture. it can be caused by changing intakes which allows more air to be sucked in and exhausts with larger diameter outlets. honda made their engines with specific intakes and outlets because they were the correct sizes if you get what i mean.

running rich is when fuel ratio is greater then air, its ok to run rich, just means you need a tune, if the inside of your exhausst pipe is black or going black due to the backfiring or popping, then your running rich.

running lean is when the fuel ratio is lower then air, start worrying. LOL i dunno the car symptoms of this haha
    rich mean fuel > air
    lean mean air > fuel
Its always safer to run rich rather then lean, running too lean may blow ur engine coz of more heat build up.

i havn't taken my stock one out and replaced with just like a small pipe, ive put on a custom supercat stainless steel one.. like with proper resonating material and stuff inside.

dont' quote me on it though, that's just what i've gathered.
It won't happen coz you have cat and the unburned fuel won't be able to reach ur exhaust~!

    cheers for help mate.
All you guys are talking about running either rich and lean but that generally won't happen to any of you guys since you only did basic intake and exhaust. Your stock ECU can adjust and learn the new mods so it should be fine, it won't coz anything unless you touch your internal and start to play with AF ratio, compression rate, size of head gasket....etc...
By removing the resanator will only give you louder sound of the exhaust and maybe some better flow in high end....but certainly it will reduce ur torque because the whole system is lack of back pressure unless you have some basic ECU tune of ur car. All you need to consider is your car is running for daily basis and start stop traffic. By removing the resanator only won't do any good.....let me put it this way, I race my DC5R and I have 2 setup, I run spoon 4-2 header with JDM 2-1 with cat, Mugen twinloop cat back, mugen airbox and stock ECU for street which give me resonable gain but not by much compare to stock. But I run Mugen Airbox, spoon 4-2 header and Mugen N1 exhaust which is 2-1 then 70mm no cat no resenator but only a N1 muffler which you can see through it. the car is totally different and its rev up so much quicker and its about 20kw different compare to my street setup. but the car will still feel a bit lack of low end torque. But race car don't need much torque coz you are driving on high rev most of the time except you are on ur warn up and cool down lap......hope that explain the problem and clear all ur questions.

ive just got on an x-force muffler and its running fine... noise level isnt too loud or too quiet lik oem and so its right for my liking and once ur inside the car, its quiet as (unless u rev it from mid-high range)

but if u wanted more sound, u should have gotten a cannon muffler.. tat case u wouldnt need to replace the resonator and still have ur responsiveness and loud sound
Cannon muffler will only give you more sound but it won't give you any gain in either respond and power.

Unless you run without cat......there won't be and backfire happen~!

Yes its possible but you need the loom to go with it, you can't use ur orignal loom and wires. also you need to stock ecu for that engine. you can change the cams and pistons, thinner head gasket to increase the compression rate and better valve springs. Its all depends on how much you wanna to spend. But it will be sth more customise and you need to know what you are doing.

yes, you need to replace the loom and wiring and also the dash too.

Resonator is part of ur exhaust system, not intake.

That cost as much as the geniune mugen lip kit and the rear bar looks ugly as....also you need to custom the rear lep brake light on the rear bumper too.
