    Semi slicks bridgestone re55's

    hello,

i am considering buying a new set or a 2nd hand set of these tyres..

i have a pretty broad question, but roughly how many track days can these tyres handle?

a rough estimation would be good

    thank you

I got 12 full track days or so out of mine before one hit the canvas, a number of which were partially wet days. Approximately 1500 track km. I carefully monitored the wear and rotated them whenever necessary. I ran them in reverse on the opposite side of the car to even out the wear too and I ran an aggressive alignment to make them wear evenly also.

The performance of the tyre dropped off significantly toward the end of their tread life.

I still ran one or two more days on them after this:

    Car: DC5R
    Tyre: 205/55R16 SR2

    crazy old TOM!

When your looking for semi's for peak performance, buy new.

If your just going to do a track day once in a blue moon, get a set of second hand
