Yes, we have not been strict in enforcing it though. And that has lead to the sharp influx of poor threads.
Hopefully it will bring back Ozhonda's reputation to being a noob-friendly Honda forum, and not a forum popular because of its lounge and lax attitude.
It sounds exactly the same to me, you have been closing threads that are illegal and waiting for reported posts on the distasteful threads. It doesn't sound too much different at all.

Yes, I agree. What I have been doing is allowing threads to run along their way until they get out of hand and they get closed. So all those threads, including threads like the brothel and homopoll, went that route. But in the end they all turned to pointless name calling and got filled with gay insults. And the backlash for me doing things this way was from members who then said that I should have deleted the brothel thread straight away and not let it run for the many pages it did. That then gives the image that the mods don't monitor the lounge enough and then get more complaints that we aren't doing our job.
So with this poll, we are trying to get member feedback on what you all think about the recent influx of poor threads. I don't want to suddenly announce that every bad thread will be deleted and clamp down on everything. That is just too extreme in my opinion. I want feedback from members, which we are getting really good ones in this thread, so that we can fine tune our guidelines on what is allowed, what should be allowed to run until it gets out of hand and what should be deleted straight away.
Also, with support from all of you on mods enforcing this, it will help the mods identify these rubbish threads because members will make use of the report post function more frequently because they know that the mods are working on getting rid of these types of threads.
