    Post Facelift for 2009 CR-V

    Hi all,

I read a very brief article on www.drive.com.au stating that there will be a facelift for CR-V in September 2009.

Has anyone heard anything along these lines?

Given that the current CR-V model was introduced back in 2007 I believe it is due for a facelift. Honda tends to have a product lifecycle of about 5 - 6 years.

If there is I wonder what changes there will be. Looking forward to that double front grill being updated!

    Thanks!

Not only www.drive.com.au but also www.goauto.com.au mentions about facelift CRV. Recently, www.goauto.com.au changed their info at thier New Car Diary info. It now states that facelift CRV will be realeased in September this year instead of February 2010. I am waiting for facelift CRV too as I also hate its front double grill. I wonder how much Honda will charge on facelift CRV? They increased price of CRV Sport model in January from $39,490 to $40,990 and increased again in May from $40,990 to $42,290. I wonder if I should buy the current one with drive away price at $40,990 or should I wait until September and pay the rip off price?

I understand that the double front grill has been updated and presented as Honda Mugen in some countries. Is it the facelift we are talking about?
They sell Mugen kits on eBay.

I just ordered my 09/09 Black on black leather CRV luxury today (w00t) and got it at the same price that they are selling the 08, drive away. Mind you i added about $12k worth of options to it. I didn't get the above grill as i thought $650 was a out right rip off for the "Honeycomb grille".
