so ill have to buy the hondata, and get it tuned etc then sell mine...
im due to get a LSD very soon, so i duno if i should get the LSD now or just get it retuned first then LSD later
thanks for the offer anyways dude
LSD wont make a difference in the tune tho...
With the hondata ecu's dont you need to give them your stock ECU so they can hack it up? Or you can buy there ECU with it hacked. Its cheaper if you have one already. Thats what the guy from hondata told me a while back.

I sent mine away but I think Adrian knows someone who dose it here
The S300 is like $800 + ECU + Chipping but all TODA to find out for sure Christian

oh ok kool... yeah well ive already got the ECU, because when i got the neptune, that came with another chipped ECU, so i can have my P72 sent away for chipping, so for the s300 im looking at 800, + the chipping? why isnt the bloody chipping included in the 800? but i think because my ECU is JDM, i need the S300J chip. Do i need to buy the boost solenoid aswell?

nah luke,ur thinkin of the old s200 fkup where they wanted to charge extra for boost. thankgod they pulled the plug on it,the whole s200 concept was a total mess.

dont forget, u cant enable boost control on a jdm P72,if u want it, swap it for an aussie version.
-
really?
because isnt the chip the same? lol spewing i sold my MINT p28 ecu to Luke lol

yes,really.
the s300 & s300J are featured the same, but that doesnt change the fact that the jdm ecu just dont have the footprint on the board to enable the solenoid output to run boost control.
u also lose an analog input or 2 with the jdm ecu,if u need em.
-
oh crap lol anyone wana swap?
how do u exactly tell its a JDM ecu? just to make sure

whats the 1st & 2nd letter/number after p72 say?
jdm are almost square case, others are rectangular.
in case ur getting confused,u can still tune for boost, but u will need a seperate boost "controller"
-
oh thats not bad then, ill get a gizzmo
its P72-003 and yeahh its square

yep, first 0 means japan,& since the second is 0,give me your best price on it & i'll consider taking it off u.
problem with the gizzmo,is its just 2 wires,so u got no feedback from the car to tailor boost to suit your car.best u'll have is a button to add a bit of boost when u want, hardly ideal for trying to launch a car thru a coupla different gears.
if u dont need launch control/datalog & the ability to fiddle the tune/settings yourself,u may as well stick to the s100 + boost controller, otherwise try to source a nonjdm ecu for much better value/results.
-
i see... i spose ill try track down a AUDM ecu...bloody hell i was hoping i didnt have to get another ecu...
because id like all the features
how much do u think my one is worth? 100bux? less? more?
