hey guys i got an issue ters someting wrong wit my audio system cant work it out

k my sub doesnt work went i start my car .. it works like 1/2hr later wen im driving does nyone noe the cause of tis ?? & n it kicks in n out here n tere

1. Check all of your connections including the RCA cables and the power cables
2. Reduce the input sensitivity and the bass boost on the amplifier

I hope its that simple...

I have the exact problem. Even when i went back to my installer to put in new wiring, worked for a week and then started playing up again.

Happened to a mate before where the sub would work intermittently, turned out one of the wires thats connected to the sub's +/- terminals came off (inside the box).

If not then its probably just something loose.

Well ill have a look see tonight. This is why i paid to get it installed so i wouldn't have problems!

Just really cant be bothered unscrewing and removing things as its inbuilt in boot bleh.

sounds like bad grounding, check your ground wire conected to ur amp and the other end to the chassis

the first thing is to learn to spell/use grammar.

second thing to do is check all cabling, making sure they are secure.

undo all the wires from the unit unit back and reconnect everything see if it still dose it if it dose you will have to test the amp / sub on a mates system see if its that that is causing the problem

I've had this problem before, I found out one of the wires from the speaker terminals to the voice coil had a break in it. I was able to resolder the wire further down closer to the voice coil.

to the original poster: when you join a forum, its best to type without shortcuts so people will help you out more. you do not get respect if you type in short hand.

if you installed the system in your car, take it apart piece by piece to find the cause, otherwise send your car to where you had it installed and get them to find the source of the problem.
