If you both had 2ZZ-GEs, then why are you saying that VVT is basically VTEC? VVT or VVTi is totally different to VTEC in the S2000. The S2000 doesn't have an infinitely variable intake cam which is basically what VVTi is. VVTi and VTEC are two totally different systems. VVTL-i is the equivalent to i-VTEC, so that would have been a bit better (although the S2k doesn't have i-VTEC).
lol what a fail thread arguing over semantics. i should hope we all know what vvt, vvtli, vtec, mivec blah blah blah means already.
Perhaps the owner put vvt power accel whatever to make it sound cooler. i know when people advertise new cars they always stress "vvt" etc, this may just be his way of explaining the cars motor to other less technically minded people.
his technique works as we all know what he meant behind the vvt (except OP lol :P)
