Rebuilding motor

Hey lads,

Did a search and didn't quite find what I was looking for. I am after a rough price to completely rebuilding my Gsi's B18B2. It has done 150 k's and I am just curious. Also are there different types of rebuild ie. Bottom end only, bottom and top end etc.

yeah you can only do a short block rebuild but you would benifit from having the head reconed. regrinding/lapping the valves makes a big difference in the way your engine runs. pretty much like new.

Hay Javed i got a 98 GSI n done 137000 kms n i wanna find as much info on rebuildn ma engine wit a vtir or type R engine!If ne1 has ne info on prices n best n cheapest ways on 2 do this pls holla bak asap!
