    it seems they know the legal requirements involved when shipping to australia. I ask them about the wooden box. here's the reply.

    100% plywood box c/w with manufacturer certification, according international shipping law only fumigated or heated wood are allow to export to Australia , plywood box is 100% heated treated and pest free.

    even we use cardboard box still need a wooden crate to protect, because kits is bulky and fragile , therefore wooden box is the best solution, cardboard is much cheaper than wooden box

    i just got the padckage yesterday. its sitting in the garage at the moment. stil have to wait for my car.. stupid dealer... said next month.

    been busy when i get the chance i'll take some photos. Didn't have to pay any tax or customs =) it all got covered lol.

    was the price you stated here the priced u paid for the whole thing?
    good to hear that customs didn't go stupid on the wooden carton. guess should be fine if it is certified pest free.

    are you going to DIY? or give to someone to install cause need to grind the front collision bar thingy off to fit front bumper.

    erm not really lol, the AEIMPEX guy is away somewhere he said and he will get back to me. I might be getting a carbon boot.
    What do you guys reckon bout carbon boots?
    for me it looks kinda outta place lol because whole car of my car is silver and there this big black thing behind my car haha. when i get the LED tail lights will go on. Might be putting on the Audi headlights this wkend just to see what it looks like.
