Honda motors are unbeleivable your bs, ks and the SR20 has that status the Japs are doing well
Im a little confused as to what your getting at with this? your not boosting unless your boosting 30psi and above? lol

i got some, sleeves don't last above 21PSI?

my D series sleves last up to 500hp so i think a B should be ok on a mild set-up.
if built may as well do it since its open

you wouldnt waste your money unless your chasing huge numbers Darton sleeves are deere, what im saying there are allot of fundementals that can happen or cause a split sleeve, its not boost in most cases. Riced Civic love to see your dyno sheet? My setup wasnt mild either no cost spared.
I found that 280kw on semi slicks babing the car off the line and spining half track for 12s...@120mph What for you know couldnt afford the slicksThe more power you put through a FWD on semi slicks wont get you a lower time these cars with big power need slicks, do you guys agree

I have to agree with redL9, its not how much boost you run that cracks/destroys sleeves, its plenty of factors, tuning, fuel, ignition, they all play a key role in a healthy motor.
I know there are plenty of Dseries guys overseas, running more than 450+whp on stock sleeves, but how long the sleeves will last is another thing. Making that much power, you've got a helluva lot of cylinder pressure the stock sleeves has to take. but with the right tune, fuel components, timing, etc. you could run 30+psi for a long time. Lets not forget, those cars making that big of power either only use the car for drag/dyno, or if they daily drive, turn the boost down to prolong the motor. For a street car/daily driver, i wouldnt boost passed 20psi, unless you own or have shares in a tyre company!!

spot on, you hit the mark couldnt say it any better.

Stock honda sleeves are hell strong. Just need to change rods and pistons and you can wind the boost up to 20-25psi. Wack in E85 and get a REAL GOOD TUNER and you'll have a crazy boosted package.
