    Vtec doesnt work!

    hey guys, ive got a aus spec B16a2 motor and it seems the vtec is not working
    why i think it doesnt work? its because theres no crossover and theres no pull, its the same all the way..


    i have a few ideas what to do, but before i do it, i wana make sure

    check the vtec solinoid - NOT DONE
    check oil level - DONE
    check temperature leve -DONE
    Check wiring- DONE


    Please ,if anyone can help it would be a pleasure.. sorrry if theres a thread about this i just cant find it.... if so is it possible to link me the "D.I.Y THREAD OF CHECKING/FIXING/CHANGING THE VTEC SOLINOID

    You can wash your car LOL......

    Otherwise you might have to follow those checking procedures. Otherwise take it to a mechanic and pay them.

    did the VTEC work earlier but suddenly stop or did you buy the car like that?

    If you just got the car maybe try remove the standard air box and replace it with an exposed filter, sometimes with the stock air box you can't hear VTEC engage when in fact it is.... btw i'm assuming your car is running stock air filter
