Where can I get some cheap Rims with Tyres

    Hi everyone,

I'm after a set of 4 rims and tyres for my 96' Gli Civic and trying to be a tightwadd about it as these are interim wheels until cash gets flowing again. I managed to crack one of my 18's on a kerb/pothole at 5km/hr whilst navigating a driveway. Rim is not fixable and I can't find a replacement. To be honest i'd prefer 16' or 15 inche rims as the 18's were heavy, looked great and cost a heap to keep the coated with decent rubber!! problem at the moment is that I'm cash strapped (bought a new bike) and EBay seems to be full of cracked rims or stock wheels charged at a premium.

    Cheers

My advice is find local adds( like on ozhonda )..

I agree alot of ppl think they can get 500.. 600 to even 1000 for their second hand rims and tyres. Their dreaming though they will never sell.. I sell my rims cheap like 250 because atleast I get them sold and its not on for sale for 3 years lol.

Go ebay though dude.. check out auctions with 99c start bid with no reserve. I have seen quiet a few next to new wheels + tyres set go for like 300-500 easily.. sometimes less.. U just have to stick it out til you find the right set man

    Good luck

make sure you get the wheels checked and they are running straight before you hand over anything!
