Thread: flat spot

    mang! since sunday night after the old road, i filled up BP ultimate at asqutih, which is wehre i ALWASY get my ultimate petrol everyweek...
    but since filling up, ive noticed a really bad flat spot specifically between 6500-7800rpm, but also throughout the whole rev range....
    is it the petrol?
    waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!! im going to cry... like its a really bad flat spot through out..... and my car feels liek crap!!! why does this alwasy happen to me waaaaah waaaaaaah waaaaaaahhh :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:
    when do we hit vtec?

    i thought id explain a bit more...

    its like a hollow acceleration.... it revs through, and sorta jsut climbs up, but there normal power and torque-iness isnt there.... its jsut hollow...???
    when do we hit vtec?

    im pretty sure it does engage? jsut throuhgout the whole rev range it feels flat and weak..... but from 6500-7800 it just feels specifically hollow and thin....?

    BUT if ur right adn its vtec NOT engaging what probelm is that?
    when do we hit vtec?

    its like, NOT A HEAVY feeling like my previous problems, it jsut revs throuhg really thin with no power.. strange.... GAHHHH help!!!

    is it the fuel? tell me it iis!!!!

    Is this a manual or auto?

    If manual then your clutch would most likely be slipping, usually occurs in the higher gears.
