my civic on the other hand is different. i only covered to third party only ie i hit someone, insurance pay for the other car and i pay my own repair

cos of insurance of my civic and cu2 is the same. but my civic is old car. so it is not worth it and better of putting the saving on comprehensive for my own repair.

in both instance i still use insurance but just minimise the cost. different level and different strategy.

as i mention this strategy may not work for all people depending on your own factor, element of risk etc and i am a very careful driver.
    ah icic.
If you have mods that aren't road legal like my carbon bonnet if someone hits you and your bonnet is damage, does it get repaired to the original condition? i.e. no carbon bonnet or the other person's insurance will replace everything as what you had on your car?
because Just Car won't insure my carbon bonnet but with everything else.

Alot of people say Just Car will insure anyone but when you do get into an accident that is your fault they try their best to get out of it saying what you have is illegal and stuff to screw you over.

Also if you hit someone and you drive your car back and say your car has open air filters which are illegal and you change it back to normal and then claim the insurance is that like possible even though it is cheating the system lol. Not that i would do that just if that is possible to do haha

i am referring to mods that insurance are willing to cover but i decided not to cover them.

obviously if cf bonnet they are not willing to cover then dont put one

anyway most insurance company will try to get away not to pay you. thats why sometimes i think insurance company is like a crook. they take your money away and when you needed them, they disown you.

i only have comprehensive insurance for primary reason to insure against being stolen and drive very carefully so that i dont get into any accidents.

what i did was i got a muffler centre to weld a "nipple" on the intake pipe and re-route the vaccum hose to it
    i'll show u

and i replace the filter with K&N since the simota is so big it sucks too much air for our fd
good work man! hows now? no engine light shows? so the main problem is the air breather yea, not the filter.
