OK.. i'm very into fuel economy and have spent hours reading up on gimmicks... then I came across this:

now don't just look at their site and their claims, do further research.

It seems their endorsed by the AUS & NZ governments as well as approval from the Californian Air Resource Board which is the strictest in the world.

Anyone here in the automotive industry or in government or fleet have any input on this? Because even the dyno charts seem absurd to me but don't look fabricated.. and an AU XR6 ute gaining an additional 125km to a tank??

Because if all the shit they have posted is true then i'm willing to fork $400 for a lifetime product that improves fuel economy upto 20% and reduce emissions because it means it pays itself off in less than 6months

I've looked at those gimmicks before (like the magnetic thing that clamps onto your fuel line), but reading through and looking at the testimonials it, it actually looks very convincing.

Improved power (with dyno backup), improved fuel economy, cleaner burning etc.

I don't really see a downside to this, especially when it will save you money in the long run

no... neither do i... and i'll admit i'm very intrigued and eager to spend the cash.

hoping someone here can come up with their theories and explanations too....

the only thing thats weirding me out right now is that i'm finding a few Aus websites advertising this along with the hiclone and fuel line magnets... kinda the anti-climax for me...

you want better fuel economy ? put a restrictor on ya fuel rail there you go less fuel used.

I would check on what the effects of burning fuel containing tin can do to the engine.

aw man... and i was expecting more of a scientific explanation from you guys lol.

it says that it is so small that the burning tin simply oxidises kinda like the oxidised crap that builds up on spark plug grounds... it makes sense to me though to make a complete burn since there will be a red hot piece of tin inside a tiny fuel particle.

but it's most successful uses have been on leaded and diesel vehicles.... was hoping someone here works for or knows of a workshop that actually installs these to comment.

the difference between this and the other gimmicks is that it's got proper corporate and government backing and actual approved testing from various EPA's confirming claims.

This guy first released it in 1990, and like all other claims everyone thought it was bogus and snake oil but seems popular and endorsed now?
