$4000 is a lot of money to be different, the first grey one at the bottom of page 1 looks awesome tho, but that same money could put a B16A in it..

Honestly if you're not happy with the D16Y1 (assuming you have the VTi) then you could always consider a B16A swap. They're generally $2,000-2,500 cheaper, so for the same amount of money you could probably put the engine in and do a great I/H/E setup with some engine management and dyno tuning to boot (flywheel, injectors etc).
It would pull just as well for the same price. The B18C is also heavier than the B16A and I've been told by some friends who have done the B18C swap that sometimes it's just a little too heavy for the chassis and the handling of the car can suffer.
Otherwise, yes it's possible but you have to fiddle around a lot...
its not that hard drill off front radiator surport and weld dc2 front in place i would use the eh gaurds as they already have the shape of the car and your have the front modify too the dc2 head lights

Ok, I have done the JDM swap to my ej8. You will need all the same stuff you need to do the swap to a Teg. Put the bonnet on first, you will not need to modify this. Then put the rad support on. Make sure it all lines up, might want to put head light and bar on too just to make sure, when your happy with it all pull it off and weld it on. Then put seam sealer over the welds. Depending on the lines of your car will determine were you cut the 2 1/4s. My panel beater spent 8 hours perside getting mine to flow right. Being the EG you might not even need to cut your 1/4s because most of the eg dc items are swapable. Then after you got all that on and lines up, need to paint it. Then pull it all back off and wire it up, then put it back on. IMO if you wanting to do a engine swap, i would look at bringing over a complete DC2R so you can do interior, brakes, engine and front for alot cheaper then buying seperate. Pm if you want to know more. You will also lose your window bug things as dc2's arent on the bonnet.
