    Rubbing

    Hi Guys,

I just put the rims (19' x 8 x offset 38) couple of days ago with tyres 235/35/19.

Now I am experiencing rubbing both of the rear.

I am planning to rolled up the rear fender.

Any suggestion or other alternative guys?

    Thanks

the place where i got my wheels put on rolled my guards for free coz my offset was +35. but it didnt help coz i still got scrubbing issues lol. which is why my wheels are currently back in the shop getting the offset machined up.
u may not want to do that tho, coz there is a risk in doing it...

so, i guess the best thing would probably be to roll ur guards (in most cases it does help), then get some stiffer suspension, like coilovers and perhaps a camber kit.

just got my wheels machined up about 4mm.. so they're sitting at around +39 offset? surprisingly it has helped a lot. i was carrying my stockies in the car on the way home from the wheel shop and there was hardly any scraping noise in the back. compared to when i first had the wheels on with +35 offset, there was a big difference in the amount of scrubbing.

for the $50 i paid them to do it, id say it was a good spend. i know it will make the wheel structure slightly more fragile, but ill risk it. lol

here are my 19s after i got them back on the car. note that i am on stock suspension and the car only looks lowered because of the stock wheels inside the car and it was also parked on a slope
