Is it illegal to park car without plate outside house?

if you ever got warning letter from council or strata then its illegal to park the car without the registration or plate number on their property. They have right to take the car from you because it happened to me. They towed away the car and i never get my car back since then unless if you park your car inside your property

And just go up to it every weekend pretending to give it a clean. Just clean the windscreen or something, so the neighbours know that it is your car parked there. If they don't like it, at least they will tell you or leave a note in the mailbox instead of calling on the council.

i once drove my old car with no license plates/no registration.
i got pulled over but i showed the police i was on my way to get it blue slipped. i had all the documentation including my engineers report. he didnt mind too much after i gave them to him.
theres no point putting TRAFFIC on your car if you dont have the correct documentation.

what piece of paper?

I believe (not sure if its still in place or not) that you can get permission from the RTA to drive your car to the nearest Blue Slip place (they send something out in the mail)
