    Water getting into EK4

Hey guys. I have partially stripped my interior (rear seats, all of boot etc) and I noticed there is a lot of water getting into the boot around the spare tyre. I put the hose on the car and had a look and the water is coming in through the rear tail light. It seems to be dripping down and then rolling into the boot. I have checked all the seals and everything seems fine. there are no cracks or anything in the light itself. Does anyone know the cause of this and what can be done to fix it?

I haven't removed the tail lights yet. Will do that tomorrow and have a look.

when u take the tail lights off u will notice 2 foam type gaskets. they will be squashed and worn not sealing the boot properly. best fix wud be to go to clark rubber and get some similar material, use the old gasket as a template, cut it out and ur water leak is now fixed.

What he said, but get some thicker foam so you know it seals alot better...
