    Jdm dc2r

Been looking at heaps of these lately and fallen in love. I've got a DA9 and love the shape, but it's just a bit too boxy for me, once I saw the JDM DC2R, I loved it.

The bug eyes don't appeal to me at all :P

Now, I read up on a imports website, that Honda Integra DC2R's can't be imported, because it isn't eligible... Does anyone have a link to list eligibility or even point me in the right direction to getting one of these bad boys imported.

I'm starting to think that the only way to have it done would be front cut & mod?

    1) The only way to get it here is to do personal import.
ie: Live in Jap and own it for 1 year then import it back
    2) Buy an AUDM DC2R and do the front conversion
    3) There's a few JDM (Personal Import) and JDM front converted in the market for sale now.

Option 3 is the easiest. No hassle no nothing

Finally, this topic had been covered numerous times. Search or go to the sticky thread in Integra Section

    kthxbye

Lame, Yeah I searched, but didn't really find much on actually importing them. Maybe I didn't look hard enough.

    Meh.

Well, I think that buying a personal import atm, would be the way to go. Or even make a few Jap friends and get em to bring one over for me, lol.

Any ideas on a conversion cost? and how long it would take?

Read this thread and you should get more insight about getting the JDM DC2R here.
    http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthr...ersonal+import

You have to make sure that your jap frens are residence here as well. Bending the rules can be a hard nut to crack.

I reckon conversion is the way to go.

Conversion Cost should be as follows:
    JDM Front = $1200-$2200
    Conversion Labour = $400-$800
Spraying the new front = $400-$1000

    How Long it takes?
It all depends on the guy who does the job for you. The most hectic part is to take out the original radiator support and weld the JDM one on and wiring the headlights.

The rest are just fit and screw it on.

Did some further research today, made some phonecalls and whatnot.

I spoke to somone who did say that the car needs to be owned for 12months overseas for personal import, however, if it's more then 15 years old, (If I remember correctly) then it can be imported without issue. Only thing is, 1994 Integra's only have bug eyes don't they?

    There isn't a JDM '94 model....?

Has anyone heard of that before or?..

have not heard of that before. You must also note models that exist in Australia will not be allowed to be imported in unless personal import. That's the main reason not a lot JDM DC2R exist here.
