my question is regarding this pic. see all the folds of the fabric. how do u get rid of them so that the pod fit snug. or do u just cut them off??

well unless u've measure and managed to build them to perfection and fit within 1mm, i think it should be fine like that at the back.

BUT! after you've fibreglassed/resin them, you should cut them off, cos the rest of the pod will hold together. i used a chisel and hammer to trim off the excess resin/fabric at the back... yer as pov as that sounds, it's all i had to work with, but it worked anyways! the back was stuck on wif hot glue, so it was removeable with a little forcel, no prob.

I have a q about this, how would you secure these to the actual door trim, screw them in? If so, do you have to screw them in from behind the door trim?

I've made something similar to this for my EG, i fiddle with fibre glass a bit. I made my own side skirts for my car Took me like a month of afternoon work, $100+ of materials but i got it done. Put metal sheeting on the bottom of them also for hardcore strength.

    Heres a pic:

I got smashed up EK Buddy club replica's and worked off that to make these.

Also got the EG buddy club bumper and removed the rear two middle fins...

Im trying to figure out a way to make rear speaker pods or the EG back speakers...not the parcel shelf ones..the rear panel ones. like in the eg6
