    EK Gauge placement

Im looking at getting a few gauges, & id rather not clutter the dash up by putting them on the dash. Now, where the centre console is in front of the gear stick, theres a little pocket just above that console bit that looks like a single DIN size. I know i can get DIN gauge mounts, but im unsure whether that space is the actual size of a single DIN.

For the boost gauge, im just going to mount it on the steering column so its right there. So, for the gauges i wont be needing to look at most of the time, ill fit in that space. What other gauges can you guys suggest. Ill need an AFR, oil press. & maybe water temp. Water temp im actually unsure of cause i already have the factory water temp, just with no numbers thats all, so i may go without the water temp gauge. Oil press i will need cause old age D16Y engines tend to have oil pump failure, so gotta keep an eye on the pressure. I know i have an oil light, but by the time that comes on to warn me about oil pressure, its already too late. Cheers guys...

i put my head unit down in that spot so i guess it is just a single din, that is, if your talking about the same spot as me which is just above the cup holder spot

50mm gauges will fit perfect, same as Din, i have a cup holder and have my HU down there and my gauges where the HU is fitted, you want to be able to see your gauges unlike your HU.

yeah thats true, but to save me abit of time, i may aswell just use that bottom space for gauges that i need, but dont need to be looking at everytime. I may be getting some series so gotta keep them outta tha sun so wont get glare...
