i have nothing against a EP3R, they both good cars, but for my personality, i dont suit a hatch for some reason.

I like the look on the typeS too and thinking of getting one before the R, even though typeS is more KW than typeR and its heavier than DC5R, you can always make it a DC5R way too to it, such as putting recaro seats replacing the heavy leather seats. I was thinking of that before i got the DC5R, but and the end i got the DC5R and i get many good feedbacks of how i made it look and done atm.

but its really upto you, but that what i was thinking before i bought my car.

Perry, you are right for the gear stick position but maybe wrong for the weight.

    JDM DC5R is 1190kg vs JDM EP3R of 1210kg.

id assume AUDM DC5R would weight similar to the JDM, otherwise i'm wrong.

back on topic, if you want to carry people/stuff around, EP3R might be more practical than DC5R.

for me i just want a geninue JDM Type R, it happens to be the EP3R (excluding private imports) so that's what i bought.

Nah drive both as everyone has said and you'll know right away but the only thing about an EP3R that shits me is where the shifter is..

very true. i can sit up straight and have heaps of leg room in the back of my mates ep3r. so comfy.

when in my dc5r u have to tilt ur head back and theres barely any leg room.

.... but when your driving, who gives a shit about the passengers lol

the slanting boot lid on dc5r limits alot of things fitting. ep3r has alot more room

and the Type S is faster than the dc5 Type R.
i thort that the type s' are slower than a type r although they have more kw they are also heavier because my m8 with a type s had a hard time beating a sss and hes a pretty good driver too lol

both good cars but id go the ep3r..

ive driven both and at first the shifter is akward but after a few mins i loved it..
shifting was so easy and its so close to the wheel i felt so involved lol

visibility is alot better in the civic too (kinda sick of limited vision from my dc2r lol)

i wouldnt go to a dc5r from my dc2r though.. just cos i want something different.. plus ive always been in love with hot hatches (not the fn2r though lol)
