    Unhappy wiring loom

    Hey guys

I was wondering ive got a 91 da but just wondering would the wiring be the same as the 92?

Was thinking of doing a B18c transplant on my 91 or is the wiring hard to swop if i wanted to do it?

90-91 is OBD0 (pale yellow clips) and 92-93 is OBD1 (grey clips). B18C's from the VTi-R are OBD1 for the early years and OBD2 for the later ones.

There are conversion harnesses around for you to plug OBD1 engine/ecu/injectors into a stock OBD0 harness. Alternately you can do what I did and remove the entire OBD1 wiring harness from a 92-93 and put it in a 90-91 - I don't recommend it though; it wasn't fun.

    Mishimoto do a DA9.

    http://www.mishimoto.com/acura-radia...-aluminum.html

I am looking at putting a DC Koyo radiator in mine as they are the same dimensions except for being 2 rows instead of 1 and a thicker core(this might be just because of the second row) not sure if volume is different.
Will have to adjust the mounts on the bottom and top to suit and I will be running aftermarket fans, so that won't matter.

other issue is if you have a standard front crossmember, it will foul on the drain plug, which makes changing out the cooolant a problem.

I like the look of the Koyo better than Mishimoto.

What reasoning is there to run a brand name radiator? When my radiator cracked a tank at my parents place in bum**** no where I managed to get a decent dual row jobbie for $350 including frieght, and I haven't had a single cooling problem since. I don't see the point in upgrading stuff past your needs.

With a 9.2:1 compression ratio standard, does anyone know what approximate psi reading you would get for a comp test on the B18A? I don't have a vehicle manual. Did mine and got 200-205 PSI for all 4 cylinders, 89 model 240,000k.

    Anyone else tested theirs?

    Thumbs up Its all good

DA9B18C thanks for the offer i will keep that one in mind when i need a harness i will come to you in future..

But i decided it was a too big of a job if i done a transplant from da to da because the other is in better shape. transfering a 93 Da into a 91 would be too much ****ing around that i dont really have much time.

Other words just too much effort

    Thanks man
    Wahyu
