easy as... get a 12V to 240V check the wattage comparison to your surround amplifier...
    make sure it can cope...

jaycar sells 12V to 240V inverters that go in your cig lighter rater to 300W
    have a look...

dare you to go through with this... wont cost much if you already got the surround lol

Haha I prob try it out and see, but yeh I got 2 car speakers, just want to hook my Logitech sub with it since I have no sub atm. LOL

Funny thing is ive been inside a car which had computer speakers and suprising its not that bad, real ghetto, but sounds alright. Buy an inverter plug it in and away you go. Cheap and really easy anyone can install it, straight out of your ipod/portable Dvd player does away with the need to have a headunit. Better than nothing I guess.

a mate bolted a 24" lcd to his boot on his holden (yuk) and had a ps3 sitting on the centre arm thingo between the 2 back seats with a 300watt targus inverter

so when you stood behind the car and poped the boot you would be facing a 24" lcd and using wireless ps3 controllers to play games lol
