    keep and mod OR sell and build

    how you going peeps, as we all know that everyone here has been bitten by the modding bug.correct! and everyone want that lil bit of extra power. for me its been a lil bit of a doozer as iv come from owning TT GTO, GTR's ect....

    now my lil dilama is, im trying to decide weather i should sell my Eg, and build a Ek ground up with a b18c7

    or

    keep and modify my Eg.

    its mainly for day to day use, also 1/4 mile and maybe later on might hit the track.

    currently only engine mods to my Eg is b16 with itr headers and cat back and a SRI. i know the mods are endless for these motors but and what iv done isnt even the tip of the iceberg, but i dont really want to spend $$$$$ to find out that it would of cost me less building a MORE MODERN car with a better engine to start with.. you get me.


    so please enlighten me with you experience, and maybe what you have seen or heard from other ppl..

    You have already begun modding your EG so I would stick with that unless you prefer the EK chassis which some do a & vice versa.

    Do you plan on keeping things NA?

    What times do you want to achieve on the strip & track?

    a cost effective and easy power upgrade......................

    from my experience boost it...............if u get the right gear (creat ur own kit) and a good tuner, u will love it.............

    ill choose an EK as its more modern and build it up =D
    EG are getting out dated interior wise

    EG is just as good as EK, just depends on how much TLC the car has recieved in the past. If your willing to work with your car it shouldn't make a difference anyway. The question is WHICH chasis do you prefer more?

    all iv done is put ITR headers back exhaust as well as SRI. the car already came with a chipped computer and tein suspension
    i pretty much want a day to day car that can do mid 13s, id be happy

    was thinking that, but the reason i went to honda is i wanted vtec, had too many turbo cars already

    they main reason i would go Ek is due to its shape, as it dont look old. but dont get me wrong. i love the eg too

    issert, so EK is a girls car and EG is boys car as seen by non-honda people?

    like don't get me wrong but i love both of em but i dont see how you can say EK is a girls car (if u have to) and say the EG isnt

    cool i drive a boat i know that, but then again better then driving boxes all together
