Thank you all for your replies , they have been most helpful..!! I really appreciate everyone's feedback I am definitely getting the Euro..!!

I have ordered the car in the Silver ( Due to our hot climate here in Darwin) is the metallic finish worthwhile , does it fade?

Don't know what to say really! Being from NSW Victorians are our natural born enemies, But my car is Black!

It does Look good when its clean, but it is a lot of work. Son gave me an orbital polisher for fathers day which should help on the elbow grease.

Euromob, there is a silver one in my street, I'm not a great fan of silver normally but it looks good on the Euro, seems to match in well with the grill and the alloy's. Look after it and you won't have any paint issues.

CU2 is a great car - have had mine for 2 months now and love it. For those who own a CU2 std, does yours can use the Remote to wind down the windows when holding the unlock buttons for 5 secs? I can't seem to get it to work or is it available at all ? Look forward to those owners reply and thanks.

I believe this is a new feature on the MY10's , but still not sure if it's available on the std'd or lux models only..?

Have it since Valentines day (coincidence only ) and still loving it... bad comment? there's the post combustion issue, my front left speaker's dead and its black (should've listen to your advise buddah! ).

Anyway, its the best car I've ever have and I still prefer this to my friend's C200 ($1400 extra for folding rear seat is ridiculous!!!). But regarding build quality, if you look at the details really really detailed, you can see some bad build quality. For example, when I took it to my smash repair, he pointed out that the gap between the front left and the back left door is smaller to the one on the right hand side. He even quote that Honda's build quality is getting poorer... but heck, who cares about 0.001 mm difference, right?

Denot, if you can find the time I would advise doing what I suggest in that link. Put your foot down if your lady tells you not to spend so much time on it, or better still, get her to help. I think you will be very surprised with the result & I would be interested to know how long it would last on a Black car.

I love Black when it is new, but unless you are prepared to spend several hours a week on cleaning it looses it's new appearance very quickly (my opinion only). For that reason I prefer light coloured cars (with the exception of silver) as they are easier to maintain. With some effort i have got my pearlesent white to reflect like a mirror in the right light conditions.

Recently started using Meguiars products myself after some advice from a work colleague (the Cleaner Wax and Scratch X), great result, people walking past asked me if it was a brand new car.

Particularly like the Scratch X, I had a scratch on the passenger door from some inconsiderate A Hole in a car park. After a few applications of Scratch X I don't even notice it anymore and I know where it is/was.

Denot, its been a bad season for black cars in Sydney, the westerly winds have brought a heap of dust with them, you should see the bottom of my pool!!! Anyway at least we know when our cars need a tub!

LOL yeah, especially when the tree outside our place is full with pollen. Washed the car one day @ my friends apartment, bring it home. take a quick shower myself and then get out to drive, its covered with pollen already

Bottom of your pool? HAH! nothing compare to ours! ours can breed crocodiles and alligators in it! green and yucky!!! hehehehe Oh well we're moving soon, so hopefully I can get a garage this time

BTW thanks for the link buddah! just need more time to convince my wife about spending $100bucks to buy the products from waxit

Sure, a manual can be more fun on odd occasions, but the way auto transmissions have improved over the years they are well worth considering for a number of reasons :-
1 - A lot less hassle when in city traffic
2 - A taller top gear which helps with economy on country trips
3 - With the advent of sports mode & paddle shift it can be just as much fun
4 - Auto's are much more popular these days & tend to hold resale value better

But like everything it comes down to personal opinion & what you want from a car.
