    Which one is ITR, which one is CTR steering wheel?

    1.

    2.

    Number 1 or 2, and why?

    Thanks

    ANSWER:
    • 1 is CTR

    • 2 is ITR

    how do i know? got both right in front of me.

    itr:
    • has smaller spline size (ID: 1.5mm, OD: 2.6mm)

    • straight through spline hole

    • longer spline length, by abt 2mm

    ctr
    • has bigger spline size (ID: 1.8mm tapers down to 1.6mm, OD: 2.8mm

    but all that measurement means jack shiet when you're buying online and the seller doesnt have a clue.

    how do you know? the split or notch.

    ek9 split/notch goes vertically (up and down)
    itr split/notch goes horizontally (left and right)

    They both looks the same to me. Also, 98 spec ITR and CTR has the same steering wheel. Cos they are both has airbag in them.
    Rep me if you think it is mechanically sound

    From memory it has something to do with the spline\hub on the rear of the steering wheel since EK and DC2 have different splines. Horizontal or Vertical corresponds to either CTR or ITR, i cant remember which is which though... sorry

    you have a spare dc2r wheel Oscar?

  6. #6
    The first one is ITR.

    measure the spline. Larger one = DC2R. smaller = EK9

    wait from the pictures -

    1 = DC2R
    2 = EK9

    ben i cant measure using pics.
    Look closely at both. The spline on pic 1 is clearly wider than the pic 2 one. This tells us , that 1 is dc2r (19mm nut) and the 2 pic is ek9 (14mm headed bolt)
