    a mate from bel garage took it out for a drive and said it drove exactly like his 20 valve turbo he built, which i was very honored to hear...

    for luken27 its my second motor...
    first motor was built wrong, which is a trial and error that you learnt as well, you gave up on the d'z where i wanted to solve the problem

    Just moved on to a better platform base.

    Yes the ZC kills the SOHC on torque

    I wouldnt say better, just easier to extract power. Building a boosted D is much better cause its more of a challenge...

    D16 blocks are everywhere bud, cheap as bloody chips. i could pick up a block & head & g/box for about the same price as just a B16A g/box...

    Alot of people seem to underestimate the Ds. Extracting power is alot harder, but once you've mastered the skill, the D is truely a nice little single cam engine...

    i totally agree with that once you get it to open right then the rest is up to the tune.. im not saying iv mastered it but hey its almost there just gotta know not to push it too much lol...
