    Prices of Dc2r

    Hey Guys,
Im in the market in looking for a Good dc2r.
Just wanting to know the price you will label for a good dc2r?

    - 110XXXkms lower
    - 1st/2nd owner
    - log book/service history
    - no accident
    - Exterior is good
    - interior is good
    - engine is running well
    - with few mods for example Mp3 player, exhaust etc.

    Thanks For the help

and also if you guys know ppl selling a decent type R (dc2r)?

Justcar insured my dc2r with slightly higher Ks (130k) for 15K. use that as a guide. Don't pay more than 17K for a normal example. Other ones like DL001's 27xxx kms yellow dc2r's are certainly an exception. Its a 10 year old car, so expect accident history, 2 to 3 owners, scratches, dents, worn seats, ...

but having said that, most dc2r owners who are enthusiasts keep them in good nick. just warning you to not expect the world

if u want somthing immaculate, buy a later model dc5R/S or buy brandnew.

How much are you looking to spend? It's only worth what you are willing to spend..

For a 100,000km'ish example in excellent nick, I would pay upto 19k depending on mods/condition/km.

Obviously, there are exceptions like DL001's, in which case a few grand more.

Also, I wouldn't buy on kays alone. Cars don't automatically blow up once it hits 100,000km, buy on condition and history of course. When I bought mine @ 83,XXXkm a few years ago, it was in better condition than most thats done less kays.

Funnily enough, siReal mine is insured for 21k. So I am not sure if insurance prices are a good guide..

i wouldnt pay more than 18k for an immac example..

unfortunately we all think our car is worth more than we think
of course there are exceptions to the rule but the cars are getting old (unforunately )

i reckon mines worth no more than 15k - sighhh

I paid $19,000 for mine, 2001 with 140,000k but in pristine condition.

I think it also depends which state you are in cause some states hold their value better.

I found cars in Sydney tended to be about 10-15% cheaper than Victoria for some reason.
