are you guys aware of anyone in brisbane running an FD1 or fd2 with an exact fd2r bodykit? full white, white rims, type r decals etc

i was up in toowong today for work and one drove past me on opposite side of high street. was hard to tell if it was fake as i couldnt see interior and was just walking along with mates, looked up "wtf" then it raced past.

just curious to know if anyone has any insight if this was a good replica or legit? i have seen many FD's done up with kits on here and around brisbane/ gold coast, but this was the first legit looking white one i've seen.

2 thumbs up to who ever it was, definitely stood out and no doubt Brians will when his gets here.

yeah there's been many sightings of this car. ive seen it a couple of times around southside/ sunnybank area. its an fd1 tho, but looks very very similar to an fd2r on the outside, including the fd2r cw wheels... i couldnt really get a look if he had any brembos on it since both times i saw him the car was moving.

last i heard, MarkCivicVti told me that the owner was looking to get rid of the ctr kit and was opting for just a full mugen one. i guess that hasnt happened

yeah must be same one. i didnt look at the brakes either. but looks very good, all guards, type badges etc. the white really made it look legit haha.
no doubt ill see the real one around the coast if all goes well.

Hmmm Brian FD2R, you know you can make a lot of money by just brining the FD2R here, right?

yeah have to say i didnt see from front, just side and rear. what woudl you have thought if he completed the inside with some type r interior? haha

bit like that guy in thailand with the fd1 fd2r full replica, but an auto... bit like a guy at work that bought an auto 911

    i miss driving a type r now

And yet one can't help to think just how much better the FN2R is compared to all those FD1s pretending to be FD2Rs.

    LMFAO.
