gg boys, i cracked my windshield! $$$$$$$$$ there goes mod money.

Ralph Moore auto glass in mascott. They were the only place that could do my windscreen n they done a top job !

I got quoted a stupid price from Honda ($3100.00). Went through O'Briens who went through some supplier in SYD and it set me back $905.00 but my insurance covered the first $750.00. So $500.00 doesn't seem that bad. It did take about 2 months to actually get the screen though. Guys at Prestige motorsport I think may have a hook up.

getting one from obriens.. total cost inc. fitting = $504! not too bad.. honda quoted me $680ish NOT inc. fitting for a genuine one.. but i would have to wait 3-4 weeks. then the price of fitting would have raped me.

oh and i should add that i called them today, and im getting it tomorrow. very speedy.

hmmm that is a surprise. Just double check they arent confused with the EU model because o'brian did quote me to replacing my windscreen with the EU because they thought it was the same. I then asked what would happened if it didnt fit and they said i was stuck with the new windscreen. I went to check out a EU windscreen at a auto glass shop in campise and they measured out a spare EU windscreen to my ep3 and they were different. Just double check brother !

I called at 4.30pm the dude got so confused isnt funny about the windscreen.
Me: " just want to know if you have an replacement windscreen for a 2003 model 3 door Civic Type R"
Operator: "Yes we do"
Me: " Can you double check if its for the 3 door or 5 door"
Operator: "It only came in 5 door for a honda civic"
Me: "So your telling me you dont have one for a Honda civic 2003 3 DOOR CIVIC TYPE R"
Operator: "Sure we do but its for a 5 door"

I gave up LOL
