guys i strongly recommend tape.. it's not so permanent.. and if u get good enough tape, you should have no problems. Here's another DIY on it with screws.

The Garage Door Bottom Seal I purchased looked like this:

This is a before shot with the main ingredient laying on the ground:

Align and stretch the seal along the bottom of your bumper to see where to cut the excess. Unfortunately, being that I suffer from chronic laziness I did not measure it for you, I apologize. You'll soon learn that you must cut around some plastic which is on your bumper to have the seal sit correctly. The following pic shows the simple cut I made to get around the plastic:

Now simply start carefully screwing the seal to your bumper where you see fit. If you choose to use double sided tape this is where you'd need it to help the seal stick b4 you start poking holes through your bumper.

    Thats it. After shots:

Are these typhoon kits open cone systems within the engine bay, if they are you could be losing power not gaining as its sucking in air at higher temps, better to go for a closed system or one the feeds from outside the engine bay

the idea is that it's not as restrictive... the stock air intake is in the engine bay anyway

Yeah but its a closed system and feed air from outside of the engine bay, most peeps think that a typhoon intake is making more power because they hear an induction roar when infact they are losing power due to its location and hot air temps from the engine
