    Also known as scratching ur gearbox

    its called compression lock....when the wheels lock up when downshifting at high rpm

    scracthing ur gearbox is not good at all...
    Gives off a bad smell, oil >.>
    Avoid quick shifting mate,
    unless u can do it right lol

    the right way is to do it so the gear fully engages before u release the clutch. if u find ur scratching ur gears then ur timing of ur footwork is all wrong and u need to work on it.

    practise makes perfect mate
    I don't scratch my gearbox doing it anymre, scratched about 10 times but eventually have gotten to a pace that im happy wif...
    Juz build a pace up steadily...
    Ive been doing it since i got my P's 9 months ago :P
