lol.. hey man, friend of mine who have same build as my old accord with bigger turbo + fully built internals. got defected in 5 days.

he drive like a snail, got the yellow from passing a breath tester bus.

they asked him to pull over and open his bonnet up. now he is having trouble to get it engineered after all that money he throw at it.

i got pulled over on the similar situation, breath test bus. and the cop asked to open the bonnet. and also looking for defect materials.. this happens a year ago.

my car has no body kit, stock rims, slight lowered and not dumped, intercooler is hidden behind the bumpe with black paint, silent blow off valve.. not low profile enough? and still managed to get pulled over

the cheapest way atm is turboing your r18a because there arent much aftermarket part available for tuning r18 yet..so thts the only option you can do, you wont get full satisfaction but at least better than it is now.

if you wanna go for engine swap, k24 are the best to start and cheapest way, or import k20z3 engine conversion and use all parts of fd2 sport like mount etc ..it should bolt straight it on, correct me if i am wrong.

last option, wait few years until someone start to work on r18a then you start getting a lot of info to do all motor for this engine..

Anything is possible to make your engine run faster as long as you have got money to start with..if you look at all motor D15 sohc non-vtec videos of youtube, most of them run 13s at quarter miles which is very fast for sht engine...

heya guys the Zage turbo kit may be cheap but is a good place to start. u can get a full kit with ecu for around 3k shipped to ur door. makes about 210 - 220 FWHP on 9psi its on full bost from 4100 so its pretty good for street use.. a brand new R18a short block costs $2090 from honda so not to expensive. u can always get forged and run more boost... heading up towards 18psi no worries and pushing a Fair bit over 300hp...

also a good ecu option is adaptronic i belive that they are a dealer here.

    ^ i giggled lol

on a more serious note, dont bother with the r18

i had a look at turbos and then final drives and then lsd's

since you track if you go turbo you probably would want the other two.

as far as i know m factory are the only guys with final drives costing somewhere around 1200 if i remember correctly

and cusco was the only guys with a lsd (when i was looking) which was a measly 2700$ before shipping.

If i were you (and im in a similar situation) id look for another car (or bike lol)

also i saw you two weekends ago when i was in sydney on saturday night walking down the thai district? (seemed like the po po were being annoying)

never the less car looks good

with 9/10 psi of 230 fwhp and a bit under should manage 13's mid to high with correct tires

    oooft man, $7k for 120kwatw.
or $17k for kswap? that's a ridiculous price.
Is a Bseries a hard swap for your kind of civic?
I don't think i've seen it done before. You could get a tidy B18halfcut for a decent price and get close to, or more than 120kwatw.

alot safer than running boost on a motor with plastic bolt ons//
