intake doesn't have a maf housing. cause i asked about it and yeah the guy said it was weird that the FDs don't have maf sensor. i think the FD2R has a maf housing, the FD2 is just a normal air sensor just behind the filter. i got the sensor put back on the pipe, its just hidden under the piping. the sensor might be a bit lose cause it doesn't make a click sound when i push it in like normally.
just gotta wait a few days and see what happens i guess. i'd be very unhappy if it doesnt work out after spending huge amount of money on it. for an intake anyway
i dunno i took it to Vision R and the guy said it isn't a MAF sensor because of something different.
well i looked up google:
"When a MAF is used in conjunction with an oxygen sensor, the engine's air/fuel ratio can be controlled very accurately. The MAF sensor provides the open-loop predicted air flow information (the measured air flow) to the ECU, and the oxygen sensor provides closed-loop feedback in order to make minor corrections to the predicted air mass"
I think mine is only an air(O2) sensor because he said a MAF sensor i wouldn't need to worry about putting the sensor back on the intake. Also looking at FD2Rs intake system there isn't a sensor where ours is and you can't see the sensor anywhere on the pipe. Cause i was wondering where to put the sensor when i looked at the GruppeM diagram of the FD2R. Unless its somewhere hidden. maybe ask that guy that's moving this FD2R over here haha.
meh who knows i just want my intake to be normal and work again
