Yeah just take out the plug that connects to the thermostat housing and put a wire or paperclip into the two holes. That will keep the fan always on

Your thermostat must be stuck closed or something, and your fan engaging must be the reason the temps go down and up.

Mine was the opposite, it was stuck open. I still need to change it
