    honda factory speaker sizes

    Found a site that might interest some people, helped me because I thought my factory speakers were 6" but apparently they are 6.5".

    they might be a 6.5" for acura... i'm pretty sure that Honda's are mainly 6's... except for the rears..

    Front are 6.5" (on a EK anyway).. but they aren't true 6.5". Alot of the nice splits are true 6.5, where the magnet is larger than that of the OEM one. Therefore you might be able to fit a OEM 6.5" speaker in the door, but only be able to fit a 6" say... MB Quart or Boston due to the size of the magnet at the back. You can cut out the plastic at the back or make up a MDF bracket to support the speaker... someone on this forum has done it. Always compare the magnet to the OEM one when buying same size speakers.

    can u direct fit a say...pioneer or sony 6" on the same spot? and can i also use the speaker covers as well? thanks man
