ive been told you cant import Honda s2ks into Australia , but is it possible to import a older year model such as 99 / 00 or 01 of the s2ks from japan?
thanks guys
why not just buy one here.
they generally dont let you import cars like these because they say its gunna disadvantage the australian market or some shit like that, for example u cant import an ek9 because it would disadvantage those trying to sell an ek4 when they go for a similar price yet u can import a skyline GTR because theres nothing for it to compete against. i might be wrong but thats what iv read and herd but yea im assuming you wouldnt be able to import one
Cars that were sold in australia as new models, cannot have equivalent overseas models imported unless under personal import.
Since the S2000 was sold in australia, you won't be able to import one unless you go to that country, buy that car, own that car and live in that country (documented evidence of the car being used + you living there) for 1 year, then you can try and bring it in as a personal import.
The only honda you can import into australia atm is the EP3r, happy to be corrected though
edit : besides personal imports
My EG5 build "Try to move in with a hot easy gurl. I've got a mate who does his house mate when he gets drunk. This way you can cure some of the loneliness and also save $$$ on prosties. Just remember to act like nothings happened the next day because if you get attached your laterz mate."

that mikey G guy is the biggest shit talker ive ever met..
in the space of 15minutes he sold two sets of wheels. claims a guy under the username DNT-CRY bought them!
This law actually ceased as of a May 2005. They can now only come in as a personal import unless their build date is older than December 1988.
This date wont start to increase until 2018.
