Yeah I think so.. Lochstar_69 to my knowledge there is only one model from Kenwood that can flip out far enough without hitting the Volume and AC Dials, But I dont remember which model it is..

Ask TGZ80Y he used to have the Kenwood dech in his Euro like that..

Hey mate, welcome to the forums!

If you check my very first post, I updated it with some details at the bottom.
-> A genuine Double DIN kit is available in Australia, Part# 08B06-SDE-700, $70-$80
I got mine at least 18 months ago now, so not sure if it's still available, but I would assume so. IIRC, I got mine from Southside Honda, Brisbane.

watch the sales space... i may be parting with a fascia thats sitting in my garage collecting dust. never opened or used. also have an RCA / BUS cable that hooks a unit straight to the AUX of the stereo.

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has tried on the cheep and nastys from ebay that say they can support "steering wheel controls" ??

    take a look:
    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/7-Touch-Doubl...t_15052wt_1002

theres a photo of the unit with some sort of "leaning" function...

any ideas if it will work with the euros?

and it works perfectly when switching between the stock HU and my Alpine DVD player via the CD/AUX button. You can also do it using an FM modulator where you have one dedicated channel on your stock HU, and tune that to the frequency of the modulator to switch between the aftermarket unit and the stock one. But if you want slightly better quality throughput and save all your radio channels then go the AUX adapter. Plus i think its a bit more of a professional looking job using the AUX button to switch betwen the 2 units rather than using a radio channel.
hrmmm.....im planing to install a poineer f310bt nav head unit into my car soon when my double din fascia arrives.
just want to make sure if i bought this aux adapter would it also work for what i am doin? i also want to use the aux button to switch between the oem head unit and the nav unit....thank guys
