1997 gsi coupe in need of parts

No havent had a chance to get onto him yet. I am heading overseas in a couple of days so will do it when i get back. A part of me wants to sell it but i love my integra! I am willing to spend a bit of money on it as i picked it up very cheap. Does anyone have any idea roughly how much i will be out of pocket to get it running well?

mate buy urself a bottle of fuel injector cleaner it costs fcuk all and you have nothing to lose as you re-fill your car quite frequintly anyway y not spend few extra bucks, add it to ur tank nxt time u fill up petty, and i promise u will see a difference in ks,
ive suffored bad ks on a tank twice on both my cars (GSI & VTIR) and all it was was dirty clogged injectors.
Also after that service th car! unless it has been done before, n you could do it urself heapps easy just search up diys

i'd give the car a good service before anything else. Sounds like the 100k service hasn't been done anyway. So oil, oil filter, timing belt, fuel pump, spark plugs etc. clean the injectors out like mentioned previously and see if that makes a difference. It may just be worth it to try and sell it, but if the body is in good nick, i would build around it and maybe drop a b20 into it. You could buy a b18 halfcut for a few grand and that will give you everything that needs replacing in your car now anyway. Might save you a bit in the long run if the motor has internal damage from being ridden hard for it's entire life.

^^ Agreed ^^ mate u could of got hotdc2s top deal on a half cut which would of been 10x well worth than fixing urz from its current condition and a bonus of: + lots more power!!! oh yea and vtec! but im sure u can still find 1 if your keen seein as you love d car
