    Changing Dc5r shiftknob

    I wanna do it myself, if its the same as any other car
    Details on how to do it would be great.

    As i don't want someone doing it and i wanna do it right

    There is a nut underneath the gearknob that locks the knob in place. Loosen this using an open ended spanner and then the gearknob will just screw off. Replace the knob in a similar fashion and tighten the locking nut when the new knob is at the right height and pointing in the right direction.

    Honestly... its fairly basic, if you haven't twisted the gear knob off while you've been driving, you aren't driving the car hard enough!
