VAFC2 and E-manage

Just wondering what are the differences between vafc and e-manage, do they do the same job? deciding which one to get for my base dc5 but again was told that e-manage cannot b used for base dc5. Or i should say not suitable. Dont know how true is that and hopefully someone out there can give me some advices. Plus what sort of enhance in power can i expect from the vafc2 together with moded cat and intake. Very much appreciated.

emanage can do ignition as well as A/F and VTEC... VAFC cannot

I think it is only a device to tune yr ecu which is suitable for every car with the coreect wiring. Just a matter on where to tune it

I belive emanage is a better piggyback out of the two, it has more tuning points and as Ghost said it does ignition where vafc doesnt.

had trouble with an emange on my car but that was due to running boost and the stock ecu not liking seeing boost,
