Guys, just another question, since you are all ODC owners already, anything I should look out for on the ODC when I buy a 2nd hand one ? (I'm a virgin used car purchaser !)
Looks like an empty slot...I've seen that on a few of them.
That's the coin tray (I think that's what it's there for).
Next to that blank cover, then sunroof controls.
I just saw a 07 Lux for $40,990 in Toowoomba.
Guessing he got about $35k trade-in......
Check the brakes for disc warping / wobble.
Must have service history.
If it's just about to need the 40,000km service take $600 off the price!
Check the tyres (esp rear) inside edges for wear. The rest of the tyre can be just about perfect but that inside edge could have worn off.
Makes sure everything works inside....
I saw one today, 63K MY07 Lux 2006 model Silver, asking $34880, but the leather was stained with what looks like "Milk Stains". Also, the edge of the doors were worn and one was rusting on the edge. I would think this is worth around $27K !

Is the leather seats easy to clean ?
There should be enough mint condition Ody's around to just walk away from anything that looks dodgy (ie rust)
Looks like $35k is about the asking price / trade price for the 06/07s.
I meant to say that the $40k one in Toowoomba was overpriced.....
Leather is easy to clean using the right products - what you describe could be water stains though...and I'm not sure about that.
The strange thing is, there is a dealer in Victoria advertising an Odyssey for $41990 with 5000km and it's a MY09 model, not luxury, so no leather, moon-roof and electric chairs...and he can do a better price too ! gee if the difference is only ~$5000 I would have to to reconsider a new/demo model to a luxury MY07...
(Assuming $36,000 for a MY07 with 20,000km and a MY09 Standard at $41,000 with 5000km)
