Adrian, I was talking my experience with my car which is a facelift EP3 with factory flywheel.
In performance terms I absoluetly agree with you. But as a daily car (I dun track unfortunately) it is more of a hassles. I think up to a stage it maybe too light for road use. It is always a compromise between comfort and performance.
Personally I think that is a bad move. Honda's don't like non-genuine parts. I wouldn't be surprised if it came back.

Denso is owned/owns sard.
Sard are a reputed brand.
I have always thought that Sard makes their own injectors cuz for Evos, Tomei injectors (made by Denso) requires a specific wiring plug but Sard bolts staight on. I am not 100% sure though,
