if the car is not moving how would the spring move? so maybe its not the spring but something is touching the suspension and causing rubbing sound from the vibration of the car?
did you install the sussy yourself or do you ask a mechanic to do it?

hey tim, may i ask if the noise comes from the side where the shaft came out?
i get the same spring type noises when i turn as well. but only on the left side... it also happens to be the side where the drive shaft thingo came out.. im not sure if its related or not. one of my friends told me that it is just noises from the spring moving.. he has the same noise on his s15.
im having the car checked next week. hopefully i'll find the source of the problem and possibly fix it.

ej20i, i think what leo is getting at, is was it installed at your house the first time by yourself, with the help of a mechanic here and there..
and when i installed my n+ for the first time i noticed a pssshhh noise over the bumps but mine was the shock releasing air or something..

when you say with the help of the mechanic. did he has any involvement in installing or all installation was done by yourself? and in what capacity is he involved in...
so if something happen to your car, who will be liable? you or the mechanic?

it was first at home coz we had to do it after work and workshop was closed,
well technically yes i paid but not really since he does all my work for free from servicing my car, to getting new tyres (just pay for stock and not labour in balancing and stuff). coz i do his car and work mates car for free (audio)
