I have done a search and couldn't find an answer to my question. What engine oils would you recommend for a Civic EG Vti and what is the engine oil stated in the instruction manual for this car (I don't have one

)?

OEM.... ask ur honda dealer.... everyone will recomend that

mobile one 0-40 is good for vtec engine..: )

yep use honda oil would be first preference

or even something like magnatec

get OEM honda oil - reccommended is FEO high performance oil.

$30 ish for 5l from your local honda dealer.
Probably the best oil to get.

Mobil 0-40??? WTF?? yeah if you want to change the oil every 2.5k, why not try motul 0w-20 in that case.

motul turbolight 10w-40, or technosythese 5w-40 should do the trick (these will require a fastidious oil change and new filter every 5k)
