DIY: CTR Headlight for EK (without oven)

its not that easy to find oem pair from wreckers, how much type r's are out there?

EK9 lights going for 900+ atm... and in the EK theres none road registered in aus...
soooo jap autos and places like that, that import front cuts be ur best bet...

i failed at this shti. lol How'd u stick it back one? what silicon did you use?

selleys all clear waterproof. let it set for 24 hours before coming into contact with water

I did the same over a year n 1/2 ago but i used the oven, was pretty easy but u have more of a chance of melting the headlights if ur not careful.

Plus i prefer leaving the indicater chrome, imo gives the headlight a better look.

did this on my EG last night.. turned out good.. I really like it. I'll post some pics up if anyone's interested.. Cant really tell at night, but on daylight, looks like oem black housing lol

In real life it looks real good.. looks like it has eyeliner on lol.
